Sitting in their own homemade duck blind on the Vrain River in Platteville, Colorado five years ago, the two founding partners of Major League Hunts, Lucas Gilbreath (one of the Colorado Rockies top pitching relief pitchers (#58)) and family hunting buddy "Uncle Chez", Kirk Cavarra, talked about how hard it was to find hunting properties that provided good quality hunts. "When I make it to the Big Leagues", Lucas stated, "I'm going to make sure we both have good places to hunt and we'll share them with our family and friends. With your hunting industry and guiding background Uncle Chez, you can run the business."
Today, their Story has become a reality!
Lucas and Uncle Chez have been guides, managers, and developers of outdoor venues for over 45 years. Their experiences are motivating them to develop a unique approach to satisfying the issues we all face today - where can we hunt, will we see game, and how can we increase our odds of success? We don't have opportunities our parents or grandparents once had. We can't just walk onto any field or knock on a door and gain permission to hunt that same day. We have busy schedules and don't have the means or time to figure out our best hunting options. It is because of these issues that we they have developed a unique approach to hunting for our partners and VIP's.
